The Journal Sentinel has named five nominees for its Milwaukee-area high school play of the week, covering games played from 31 August to 5 September 2026. Readers can vote until midday on 12 September.

The nominees are Joel Perez of Kenosha Indian Trail, Anthony Vetta of Arrowhead, Ethan Hans of Lake Country Lutheran, Dustin Roach of Catholic Memorial and Jacob Kleutsch of Kenosha Bradford.

According to the Journal Sentinel, Perez was nominated for a difficult completion that helped set up a touchdown in Indian Trail’s reported 55–18 loss to Kenosha Bradford. Vetta’s nomination came for an interception during Arrowhead’s reported 34–14 win over Catholic Memorial.

Hans was nominated for a punt-return touchdown in Lake Country Lutheran’s reported 36–6 win over Shoreland Lutheran. Roach was recognised for a reported 38-yard touchdown reception in Catholic Memorial’s loss to Arrowhead.

Kleutsch was nominated after a reported sack-fumble return touchdown, alongside an interception and kickoff fumble recovery, in Bradford’s win over Indian Trail. The Journal Sentinel said future polls may include highlights from other fall sports and invited readers to submit clips of 30 seconds or less by Monday deadlines.

The supplied material does not identify the eventual winner of the poll.
