Josh Allen has emerged as the early favourite for the 2026 NFL MVP award, with Fox Sports listing him at +550 through bet365 Sportsbook as of 8 September.

Allen leads a market that places Lamar Jackson at +800, Joe Burrow at +900, and Justin Herbert and Drake Maye at +1000. The odds reflect an early betting market and may change before the award is decided.

The ranking follows a narrow 2025 MVP race in which Matthew Stafford defeated Maye by one first-place vote, 24 to 23, and by five points overall, 366 to 361.

Fox Sports reports that Allen won the 2024 MVP after receiving 27 first-place votes and finished third in the 2025 voting with two first-place votes. Jackson, a two-time winner, was unanimously selected in 2019 and also won in 2023.
