Jaguars’ final Jacksonville season set against reduced-capacity stadium
EverBank Stadium will hold 42,465 fans as renovations close the upper bowl and limit access to parts of the venue.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to play their final planned season in Jacksonville before a temporary relocation for 2027, with EverBank Stadium operating through extensive renovation work.
Capacity will fall to 42,465, a reduction of 27,308 seats from last season. The entire upper bowl is closed, while some lower-bowl, end-zone, club and Terrace Suites seats are also unavailable.
Yahoo Sports reported that construction will continue during games, including work to expand concourses and build the structure for a future stadium canopy. More than 100 steel trusses have been installed, and a fourth grand staircase is expected to open during the season.
Parking and ground-level access may be disrupted, although fans can still walk around the main concourse. The Jaguars recommend entering through the gate listed on each ticket.
The Spa Deck, Sky Patio and Daily’s Place will be unavailable on game days. The stadium will have 54 restrooms and 86 concession stands, compared with 92 and 160 respectively last season.
The Jaguars are scheduled to play six regular-season and two preseason home games in Jacksonville, with other regular-season home games in London. The upper decks are expected to be demolished after the season, while the renovated stadium is expected to reopen in 2028. The Touchdown jaguar statue, removed and stored off-site, is also expected to return.
