Solheim Cup 2026

Charley Hull and Lottie Woad will face Nelly Korda and Allisen Corpuz in the opening foursomes match of the 2026 Solheim Cup in the Netherlands, according to pairings reported by BBC Sport.

The match is scheduled to begin at 06:40 BST at Bernardus Golf, with four foursomes contests opening the competition. Foursomes are played in an alternate-shot format.

Korda and Corpuz have won all four of their foursomes matches across the previous two editions of the contest. They also defeated Hull and Esther Henseleit in the opening match of the 2024 Solheim Cup.

The remaining announced pairings are Nanna Koerstz Madsen and Celine Boutier against Alison Lee and Lauren Coughlin; Henseleit and Leona Maguire against Andrea Lee and Lindy Duncan; and Maja Stark and Linn Grant against Rose Zhang and Jennifer Kupcho.

The United States won the opening foursomes session 4-0 in 2023 and led 3-1 in 2024. Europe lost the 2024 contest 15½-12½ and will be seeking to regain the trophy.
