Gullit calls for more from Juventus-Milan after goalless meetings
Ruud Gullit says Milan striker Gonçalo Ramos needs greater support from his teammates as neither side emerges as a clear favourite.
Ruud Gullit has called for a more entertaining contest when Juventus face Milan, after the sides recorded two goalless draws during the 2025–26 campaign.
Speaking to Gazzetta, as reported by Yahoo Sports, the Milan great criticised the lack of goals and entertainment in the previous meetings. He said he hoped “something changes” in the latest fixture.
Both clubs reportedly won their opening two Serie A matches, but neither qualified for the Champions League last season. Juventus finished sixth and Milan fifth, according to the supplied report.
Gullit also focused on Milan’s new centre-forward, Gonçalo Ramos, who joined from Paris Saint-Germain in a reported €75 million deal including add-ons. He said Ramos could not be expected to solve all of Milan’s problems alone.
“How many balls does he receive?” Gullit asked, arguing that Ramos needs confidence, service and support from the rest of the team.
Gullit declined to name a clear favourite after only two matches, while noting the managerial changes and squad-building approaches at both clubs.
