Smart lighting and audio hybrid sees $45 discount across major retailers

Govee has reduced the price of its Table Lamp 2 Pro to $134.99, marking the device’s lowest price to date. The discount represents a $45 reduction from the standard retail cost and is available ahead of the US Memorial Day holiday on 25 May. The offer is currently active at Amazon, Best Buy, and Govee’s online storefront.

The Table Lamp 2 Pro is positioned as a convergence of smart home lighting and portable audio. It combines a colour-changing lamp with an integrated JBL Bluetooth speaker. The unit features 210 individually controllable LED beads capable of producing up to 600 lumens of tunable white light. The device offers 360-degree illumination with 100 preset effects, 16 of which are designed to sync with music playback.

Technical specifications include a 5,200mAh internal battery, providing approximately 4.5 hours of runtime. The device weighs 5 pounds and is not waterproof. Connectivity options are extensive, supporting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and the Matter protocol for cross-platform smart home integration.

Audio performance from the JBL component is described as having clear highs and decent mids, suitable for radio or podcasts. While the bass response is noted as limited, the speaker achieves sufficient volume for casual use. The lamp also includes ambient sound profiles, such as nature sounds and fireplace audio, accessible via the Govee app.

Memorial Day is traditionally cited as the unofficial start of summer in the United States. Govee markets the Lamp 2 Pro as a summer essential, targeting consumers seeking both ambient lighting and portable audio solutions. The price drop coincides with seasonal retail promotions, though the specific duration of the discount beyond the holiday period has not been disclosed.
