Google unveils Pixel 11 series with Tensor G6 and up to $350 in preorder incentives
The Pixel 11, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold models are now available for preorder, with shipments commencing on 20 August 2026 and introductory gift card deals running through the end of the month.
Google has officially announced the launch of its latest smartphone and wearable lineup, introducing the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, alongside the Pixel Watch 5. The devices are now available for preorder through major retailers including Best Buy, Amazon, and the Google Store, with general availability set for 20 August 2026. The announcement marks a notable shift in pricing strategy for the tech giant, with all models seeing a $100 increase compared to their predecessors.
The base Pixel 11 starts at $899, while the Pixel 11 Pro begins at $1,099 and the Pixel 11 Pro XL at $1,299. The foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold carries a starting price of $1,899. The accompanying Pixel Watch 5 is priced at $399 for the 41mm model and $429 for the 45mm version. Google has structured introductory preorder incentives to encourage early adoption, offering retailer gift cards ranging from $100 to $350 depending on the device purchased.
For unlocked phone preorders, customers receive a $100 gift card with the standard Pixel 11, $200 with the Pro and Pro XL models, and $350 with the Pro Fold. The promotion is available at Best Buy, Amazon, and the Google Store, though only Google has specified an end date for the offer, which is 27 August 2026. The Google Store provides an alternative incentive structure, allowing customers to apply the gift card value towards the purchase of a Pixel Watch 5 for an additional $50 credit. Under this arrangement, purchasing a Pixel 11 Pro Fold includes a free base model 41mm Pixel Watch 5.
Central to the new hardware is the Tensor G6 processor, which Google states delivers 25 per cent faster web browsing and a 15 per cent improvement in app loading speeds compared to the Tensor G5. The chip also offers 50 per cent more TPU compute for artificial intelligence tasks and is claimed to be 20 per cent more power efficient. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold features an 8-inch internal display and a 6.5-inch external display, both supporting up to 120Hz refresh rates.
Camera systems have been upgraded across the lineup, with the Pixel 11 series introducing a "Magic Capture" feature that stitches clips and photos from longer videos. The Pro Fold includes a new 48MP wide camera with improved light sensitivity, while the Pro and Pro XL models feature a 48MP telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom. The Pixel Watch 5 introduces "Health Guardian," a suite of features monitoring blood pressure trends and insulin resistance, alongside improved GPS accuracy for crowded environments.
