Gavaskar’s toss moment precedes India’s Asia Cup win over Pakistan

Surinder Khanna led India’s scoring with 56 from 72 balls, while Sandeep Patil made 43 and Gavaskar remained unbeaten on 36. India finished on 188/4 from 46 overs.
Pakistan’s chase faltered as the side was dismissed for 134 in 39.4 overs. Mohsin Khan top-scored with 35 and Abbas made 27, while Roger Binny and Ravi Shastri claimed three wickets each.
