Florida State baseball has retained its position at No. 11 in the latest D1Baseball national poll, a standing that follows the team’s successful conclusion of the regular season. The Seminoles clinched their series against the Miami Hurricanes, finalising their overall record at 38-16, including a 19-11 mark in Atlantic Coast Conference play. This performance secured the No. 3 seed for the upcoming ACC Tournament.
The national ranking places Florida State between Texas A&M, listed at No. 10 with a 39-13 record, and West Virginia at No. 12 with a 36-19 record. Within the ACC, Florida State is the third-highest ranked team in the poll, trailing only No. 2 North Carolina and No. 3 Georgia Tech. The conference currently features just three ranked teams in the updated standings.
Boston College experienced a drop in the rankings, falling from No. 23 to unranked status after being swept by Georgia Tech. In contrast, Florida State’s strong home record of 27-4 contributed significantly to their high seeding and national standing.
