Five killed in Dutch tourist bus crash in eastern Switzerland

Five people were killed and 40 injured after a bus carrying Dutch tourists overturned near Susch in the canton of Grisons, eastern Switzerland, Swiss police reported.
The bus landed in a construction zone near the Alpine village. Police said three injured people were in serious condition, seven were moderately injured and 30 had minor injuries.
Seven rescue helicopters and 13 ambulance crews transported casualties to hospital. The identities of those killed had not been released.
Swiss police are investigating the cause of the crash. The circumstances remain unestablished, and authorities have not attributed the incident to the nearby construction zone.
Swiss President Guy Parmelin, along with Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, expressed condolences to the victims’ families and the injured.
