Today on Sky Sports Racing: Ffos Las hosts six-race card
Sky Sports Racing to broadcast six-race programme from Welsh track

Ffos Las in Wales is set to host a six-race card on Wednesday, with the programme commencing at 3.37pm. The start time has been moved forward from the traditional slot to accommodate a scheduled solar eclipse, according to Sky Sports Racing. All six races from the Welsh track will be broadcast live.

The feature contest of the day is the Meyer Timber EBF Maiden Stakes, which is headlined by Narrjoo. The son of Ten Sovereigns, trained by Simon and Ed Crisford, finished second to Jassas on his debut at Doncaster last month. He is a 200,000gns purchase and faces a field of seven runners, including Drum Bay and Isabella de Vega.

Drum Bay, trained by Ralph Beckett, and Isabella de Vega, trained by Ed Walker, both impressed on their respective debuts and are expected to provide strong opposition. Narrjoo’s connections have indicated future entries in the Champagne Stakes and the Goffs Million, suggesting high regard for his potential at Gainsborough Stables.

Other notable runners include Engraved, a 200,000gns two-year-old Mehmas colt trained by James Fanshawe, who makes his debut. In the Faucets The Bathroom Specialists Maiden Fillies' Stakes, Eskimo Pie, trained by Jane Chapple-Hyam, seeks her first success. She will face Mystic Veil, a half-sister to July Cup winner No Half Measures, who makes her debut for trainer Archie Watson.

The card concludes with the Dress For The Occasions Handicap, where Belle Of Kt attempts to complete a hat-trick. She is one of several consistent performers, alongside A Daughters Love, who won by 10 lengths in her previous start, and Noble Grace, who won over course and distance two weeks ago. Both have been adjusted in weight for their recent victories.
