Fantasy Footballers cohost Andy Holloway keeps his workflow to two tabs and zero inbox
The Fantasy Footballers cohost told The Verge that batching small tasks helps him stay focused during the fantasy football season.
Andy Holloway, cohost of The Fantasy Footballers, says he keeps his digital workload tightly controlled during one of the busiest periods of the fantasy football calendar.
In an interview with The Verge published ahead of the NFL season, Holloway said he had just two browser tabs open and described himself as a “tidy tab user” and a zero-inbox advocate.
He also said notifications and messages could feel intrusive, even after customising his phone. Holloway described them as demands that “seem” required in everyday life.
To manage competing demands, Holloway said he tries to complete a large number of small tasks in a short period. Clearing those items helps him focus on higher-priority work without smaller jobs hanging over him.
Holloway cohosts the podcast with Jason Moore and Mike Wright. The Verge describes the show as having more than two million monthly listeners and multiple awards, while Holloway identified building it with friends as his most satisfying accomplishment.
He also named the Whoop wearable as his favourite gadget, citing its motivational and social features, and said the last physical media he bought was Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide on vinyl.
