Fairy Glen heads John Musker Fillies’ Stakes field at Yarmouth
The Group Two winner is rated 112 and returns to Listed level as Ryan Moore partners unbeaten Enoch elsewhere on the card.
The Listed John Musker Fillies’ Stakes will headline day two of Yarmouth’s Eastern Festival on Wednesday, with Simon and Ed Crisford-trained Fairy Glen considered the leading contender.
Fairy Glen is rated 112 and returns to Listed level after finishing fifth in the Group One Prix Vicomtesse Vigier in May. Her prospects will depend in part on her condition for the return, according to the pre-race assessment reported by Sky Sports.
Rhapsody is also identified as a key chance for William Haggas and Tom Marquand. The dual winner has finished runner-up on her past two starts and is expected to be in contention if she produces another similar effort.
Lightly raced Seet and Sky Safari are among the other runners with prospects. Sky Safari has not raced since finishing third in the Group Three Hoppings Stakes at Newcastle and switches back to turf.
Ryan Moore is scheduled to ride unbeaten Enoch in the Goffs Two Million Series Handicap. Enoch has won twice, including at Lingfield last month while carrying a penalty, and is seeking to maintain that record in handicap company.
