Fans can vote among 16 early nominees in a poll seeking to predict the 2026 Section V boys’ volleyball Player of the Year.

Yahoo Sports reported that voting will remain open until 8 p.m. on Saturday, 19 September. The result is scheduled to be announced on the DandCSports Instagram page the following week.

The Democrat & Chronicle compiled the list of potential standouts with input from coaches and previous all-star selections. Teams were limited to a maximum of two nominees.

More than two dozen high school teams are expected to compete in Section V boys’ volleyball over the coming months as they pursue championships.

The poll is presented as a fan prediction of the competition’s best player. The source package does not identify the nominees or confirm that the poll winner will receive an official Player of the Year award.
