Everton secure permanent signing of Liverpool defender Hannah Silcock

Everton have finalised the permanent transfer of Hannah Silcock from Liverpool, the club confirmed via its official website. The 21-year-old defender becomes the Toffees’ ninth signing of the current summer transfer window, arriving for an undisclosed fee.
Silcock comes through the Liverpool academy system and established herself at senior level, making 22 appearances for the club before her departure. She also holds international honours, having represented England at Under-23 level.
The move places Silcock under the management of Scott Phelan at Goodison Park. Upon completing the deal, Silcock cited the manager’s vision as a primary factor in her decision to join the club, describing the project as a place where she wanted to be.
