Espí credits team effort after decisive Real Madrid goal against Elche
The striker praised Kylian Mbappé’s assist and looked ahead to his first Madrid derby against Atlético de Madrid.

Real Madrid striker Carlos Espí said he was “very happy” after scoring the winning goal against Elche, which Yahoo Sports reported as his second decisive goal for the club.
Espí said he tried to help the team whenever he played and described the result as a collective effort. He added that players had made the most of their opportunities and given their best.
The striker singled out Kylian Mbappé for praise after the French forward assisted the goal. Espí called Mbappé “incredible” and said he was also happy for his team-mate.
Espí is now preparing for his first Madrid derby against Atlético de Madrid on Sunday. He said he was looking forward to the match, was excited by the occasion and that the team would be “going all out for it”.
