EA FC 27 ratings reveal Mbappé, Haaland and Putellas at summit
Lionel Messi and Michael Olise see significant boosts following 2026 FIFA World Cup performances, while Paris Saint-Germain dominates the top tier.
The initial release of player ratings for EA FC 27 has confirmed Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland and Alexia Putellas as the highest-rated athletes in the latest iteration of the football video game series. All three players hold an overall score of 91, sharing the top spot in the game’s first batch of updates.
Mbappé and Haaland enter the new season as the highest-rated men’s players after trading goals in the Golden Boot race at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Putellas, a two-time Ballon d’Or winner, also secured the 91 rating following her transfer from FC Barcelona Femení to the London City Lionesses this past summer.
Lionel Messi’s rating has increased to 89, marking his highest score since 2023 when he won his eighth Ballon d’Or. The adjustment follows his performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he scored eight goals and provided four assists, finishing just short of winning the tournament.
Michael Olise has also seen a substantial rise in his rating, moving from 86 to 90. He is now one of only 11 players to hold that score, a boost attributed to his seven assists during the World Cup, which stands as the most assists by any player in a single edition of the tournament.
Paris Saint-Germain features the most men’s players in the top 27, with seven representatives. Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha hold the highest ratings on the squad at 90, followed by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes and Willian Pacho at 89, while Achraf Hakimi and João Neves are rated at 88.
