Daron accounts for five touchdowns as Londonderry defeats Manchester Central

Londonderry quarterback Sully Daron accounted for all five of his team’s touchdowns in a 33-12 NHIAA Division I victory over Manchester Central at Gill Stadium on Friday night, according to Yahoo Sports.

Daron completed 15 of 28 passes for 311 yards and ran for 55 yards on six carries. He threw touchdown passes to Davis Magarian, Owen Crafts and Devin VanAvery, who caught two, before adding a 13-yard rushing score.

Londonderry led 19-0 at half-time after Daron connected with VanAvery for a 74-yard touchdown. The pair combined again on a fourth-and-17 play from Central’s 34-yard line, extending the lead to 26-6 with a 34-yard scoring reception.

Crafts finished with six catches for 115 yards, while Magarian recorded four receptions for 77 yards. Daron connected with six receivers during the game.

The result leaves Londonderry with a reported 3-0 record and Manchester Central at 2-1. The teams were ranked fourth and 10th respectively in the week’s Union Leader Power Poll.
