Dante Moore currently sits ahead of Arch Manning in Fox Sports analyst Rob Rang’s early ranking of quarterbacks eligible for the 2027 NFL Draft.

Rang’s list covers 16 quarterbacks and is divided into projected Day 2 and Day 3 tiers. He plans to update the rankings throughout the 2026 season, as player development and draft decisions become clearer.

The projections remain uncertain amid college football’s open transfer system, lucrative name, image and likeness opportunities and questions over which players will ultimately declare for the draft.

Nico Iamaleava, John Mateer, CJ Bailey and Beau Pribula are identified as Day 3 prospects. Rang cites outstanding physical tools among the group, while noting concerns including consistency, accuracy and decision-making.

LaNorris Sellers and Brendan Sorsby are discussed as Day 2 prospects. Sellers’ potential is tied to improving his accuracy on short throws, while Sorsby’s outlook is complicated by a one-year layoff after being ruled ineligible for sports betting.

Rang’s order is an analyst projection rather than an official NFL assessment or draft order, and Moore’s position ahead of Manning is expressly presented as temporary.
