The Washington Commanders and Indianapolis Colts are scheduled to play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday, 4 October. Both teams come in at 1–2 after recording their first wins of the season: Washington beat Seattle, while Indianapolis defeated Houston.

Marcus Mariota is expected to start at quarterback for Washington as Jayden Daniels continues recovering from an elbow injury. Daniels was a limited participant in practice this week, according to CBS Sports, which published the matchup preview.

The preview reports that Indianapolis is allowing 417.3 yards and 30.3 points per game. Washington is allowing 30.7 points and 280.3 passing yards per game, figures that point to defensive challenges for both sides.

Indianapolis will be without receiver Alec Pierce, who was placed on injured reserve. Josh Downs has caught 12 passes for 149 yards over the past two weeks, while Keenan Allen is ruled out with a groin injury.

CBS Sports lists kickoff at 9:30 a.m. ET. Its preview forecasts a potentially high-scoring game and predicts an Indianapolis win; those remain pre-game expectations, with no result reported.
