Ohio State is scheduled to visit unbeaten Iowa at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City on Saturday, 3 October, with kick-off listed for 3:30 p.m. ET. CBS Sports lists the game on CBS and Paramount+.

The Buckeyes enter at 3–1 after a 42–19 win over Illinois, following a 24–23 loss at Texas. Iowa is 4–0 overall and 1–0 in Big Ten play, including a 20–19 road win over Michigan.

CBS Sports lists Ohio State as a 14.5-point favourite and the total at 45.5 points. SportsLine’s model, based on 10,000 simulations, projects 44 combined points and gives the under a 52 per cent chance.

The model’s forecast points to Iowa’s defence and a slower game. CBS Sports reports that Iowa allowed 16 points against Northern Illinois and 13 at Iowa State; three of the Hawkeyes’ four games this season have finished under the total.
