Celtic will host Rangers at Celtic Park on Sunday, 20 September, in the latest meeting of Scotland’s traditional Old Firm rivals.

A victory would allow Celtic to extend their Scottish Premiership lead to eight points. The match follows Rangers’ 3–1 Scottish League Cup win over Celtic on 13 September, a result that sent Rangers through to the semi-finals against Aberdeen.

Yahoo Sports reports that Celtic are unbeaten in six league matches but have lost their past two games in all competitions, including a 3–1 Europa League defeat by Ferencvaros. Rangers, meanwhile, have won five consecutive matches since exiting Europe on 27 August.

The Yahoo Sports report lists a 7am ET kick-off and Paramount+ streaming for viewers in the United States. The fixture will be played at Celtic Park in Glasgow.

Yahoo Sports’ preview tips a 2–1 Celtic victory, while noting Rangers’ recent form as a potential challenge to a Celtic recovery.
