Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams and Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs have been selected as the inaugural “Employees of the Week” on FOX Sports’ “Gronk & Jules”.

Former NFL player Julian Edelman chose Williams after Chicago’s 59–37 win over the Carolina Panthers. Williams recorded 269 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, 65 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Rob Gronkowski selected Gibbs following Detroit’s 31–30 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Gibbs rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns, while adding five receptions for 30 yards.

FOX Sports reported that Gibbs reached 51 career touchdowns in his 50th game. The recognition was presented by the programme’s hosts and is not described as an official NFL award.

The selections acknowledge two individual performances from Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season, with both players representing NFC North teams.
