Mansoor Delane makes instant Chiefs impact before shoulder injury

Kansas City Chiefs rookie cornerback Mansoor Delane intercepted Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix near midfield during his first NFL series, providing an immediate return on the club’s decision to trade up to the No. 6 pick in April’s NFL Draft.

Delane made the play on a third-and-11 pass thrown into double coverage. The LSU product was not on the field for Kansas City’s second defensive series.
