Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers has undergone surgery for a meniscus injury and is expected to miss the opening one or two games of the 2026 NFL season.
Yahoo Sports reported that Bowers underwent a meniscus trim on 9 September. The Raiders have not publicly commented on the injury, and the timing of any return remains unconfirmed.
Bowers is expected to be the Raiders’ leading pass-catching target when healthy. The 2024 first-round pick recorded 64 catches, 680 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games during the 2025 season.
He made eight starts last season while managing a PCL injury and bone bruise in his left knee. The latest injury follows reports that he had been dealing with a minor issue in training camp before being diagnosed last week.
Michael Mayer is expected to take most of the playing time at tight end while Bowers is sidelined. The Raiders’ head coach, Klint Kubiak, has not indicated when he will publicly address the injury.
