Brighton secure Promise David on loan as Baleba exit nears

Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of 25-year-old striker Promise David from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on a season-long loan agreement. The transfer package includes an obligation to buy, contingent upon specific criteria that have not been publicly detailed.

David arrives with a substantial record of success in Belgium, having made 82 appearances for his former club and netted 41 goals. Brighton sporting director Mike Cave indicated that the club had been monitoring the Cameroon international for some time before moving to secure his services.

The Cameroon international has been linked with a move away from the Amex Stadium, with reports indicating that an agreement between the two clubs is nearing completion.
