Blaney, Larson and Logano share Next Gen-era NASCAR postseason record
The trio enter the 2026 Chase with five postseason wins each, while Christopher Bell is one victory behind.
Ryan Blaney, Kyle Larson and Joey Logano will begin NASCAR’s 2026 Chase sharing the Next Gen-era record for postseason victories, with five wins apiece since the car debuted in 2022.
Christopher Bell has four postseason wins and could join the group with victory in Sunday’s Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway, the opening race of a 10-event championship run. Yahoo Sports reported the standings and win totals, citing NASCAR Insights.
The 2026 Chase introduces a cumulative-points format in place of NASCAR’s previous elimination system. All 16 Chase drivers will compete across the same 10 races, with the champion to be decided on points at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November. There will be no elimination rounds or Championship 4 race.
Regular-season champion Denny Hamlin leads the opening standings on 2,100 points. Blaney starts second on 2,075, Larson seventh on 2,045 and Logano ninth on 2,035.
Logano won the Cup Series titles in 2022 and 2024, Blaney claimed the 2023 championship, and Larson enters as the defending champion after winning in 2025. Under the new format, a postseason win remains significant but does not automatically determine advancement to another round.
