Bayern turned away from Barcola over PSG price, Eberl says

Bayern Munich assessed a potential move for Bradley Barcola while he was still at Paris Saint-Germain, according to comments by the club’s board member for sport, Max Eberl.
Eberl said he had first explored signing Barcola during his time as sporting managing director at RB Leipzig, and that the player was also considered after Eberl joined Bayern. The account does not establish that Bayern made a formal bid.
Eberl said PSG’s asking price was excessive. Barcola subsequently joined Liverpool for a reported €125 million, although the fee has not been independently confirmed in the supplied material.
