B&H Photo slashes prices on Nikon and Sony cameras for June promotions
WIRED highlights B&H Photo’s latest promotional offers, featuring up to $600 off flagship camera models and expanded shipping benefits for US customers.

New York-based retailer B&H Photo has launched a suite of promotional offers for June, with a focus on photography and technology equipment timed for Father’s Day. According to a guide published by WIRED, the retailer is offering substantial price reductions on several high-profile camera bodies, including a $300 discount on the Nikon Z6III, which is now priced at $2,196.95. Additional savings include $200 off the Nikon Zf and $600 off the Nikon Z8, alongside a $400 reduction on the Sony a7R V.
Beyond camera bodies, the promotions extend to action cameras and general tech hardware. The GoPro Hero 13 is available for $70 less, while the retailer’s Deal Zone features rotating discounts on items such as Lenovo tablets and Logitech mice. B&H has also curated specific gift guides for the occasion, highlighting products like the Pentax 17 Film Camera and Evergreen Cases Legacy Camera Sling to assist consumers selecting gifts for photography enthusiasts.
The retailer maintains its standard shipping policy for customers within the United States, providing free expedited shipping on orders exceeding $49 to the lower 48 states. Orders under this threshold qualify for free standard shipping in the contiguous US. For international or non-qualifying shipments, alternative shipping options are available during checkout, though specific rates are determined at that stage.
B&H Photo is known for reserving its most significant annual discounts for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday periods, yet it continues to offer value outside of these peak sales windows. The current promotions include extended holiday sales with 24-hour camera discounts and price drops across various accessories. While promo codes may not be available at all times, the direct price reductions serve as the primary mechanism for savings during this period.
Students and educators can access additional benefits through B&H’s student discount programme, which requires an EDU email address for verification. This programme provides free shipping on most orders and access to exclusive discounts. The retailer also operates a trade-in scheme for used gear, allowing customers to sell their existing equipment. In one instance cited by WIRED, a used Sony a7 II received an offer of $210, though final values are contingent on the condition of the item matching the seller’s claim.
