Texas quarterback Arch Manning says he is eager to face Ohio State on Saturday as the teams meet for a third consecutive college football season.

The 2026 fixture will be played in Austin, with kick-off scheduled for 7.30pm ET on ABC. Manning said the opportunity to play in major games was one of the reasons he chose Texas.

Ohio State won the previous two meetings. The Buckeyes defeated Texas 28–14 in the 2024 College Football Playoff semi-final before winning 14–7 in Columbus last season.

According to Yahoo Sports, Manning passed for 170 yards, one touchdown and one interception in last season’s game. The upcoming meeting gives Texas an opportunity to reverse the recent result between the programmes.
