Angels claim series in Boston behind Neto’s three-run homer
Los Angeles beat Boston 6–4 as Zach Neto, Jose Siri and Denzer Guzman homered for the visitors.

The Los Angeles Angels defeated the Boston Red Sox 6–4 on Wednesday night to take the series, with Zach Neto’s three-run homer over Boston’s Green Monster providing the defining moment.
Jose Siri added a two-run homer and Denzer Guzman hit a solo shot as Los Angeles built its winning margin. Ryan Johnson allowed three runs over six innings.
The result gave the Angels consecutive wins and, according to the Yahoo Sports report, their first road series victory since taking two of three from Houston in August. Los Angeles has won four of its past 15 games.
Boston lost the final two games of the series after winning the opener. Roman Anthony and Wilyer Abreu homered for the Red Sox.
Boston nevertheless won the season series 4–2, following a three-game sweep in Anaheim in early July.
