Andros Townsend reportedly caught under pitch roller in Thailand
The former England winger was reportedly unhurt after his left leg became briefly trapped during a warm-up before PT Prachuap’s 3–0 win.

Andros Townsend was reportedly caught under a pitch roller during a warm-up before PT Prachuap’s match at Pattani on Saturday, according to Yahoo Sports.
A member of staff appeared to lose control of the heavy vehicle, briefly trapping Townsend’s left leg underneath it. The 35-year-old was reported to be unhurt.
Townsend later came off the bench as PT Prachuap secured a 3–0 win in the Thai League 1 fixture.
The former Tottenham, Luton and Crystal Palace winger referenced the incident on Instagram, writing that playing Stoke away “wasn’t so bad after all”.
Townsend moved to Thailand in 2025 after joining Kanchanaburi Power. He has won 13 England caps.
