Bears face Vikings with Murray sidelined for NFC North clash
Chicago host Minnesota after contrasting quarterback storylines shaped both teams’ opening-round wins.
The Chicago Bears will host the Minnesota Vikings in a Week 2 NFC North matchup between two 1–0 teams, with kick-off scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
Chicago opened the season with a 59–37 win over Carolina, while Minnesota defeated Green Bay 39–22. The Bears, the reigning NFC North champions, are favoured by 5.5 points, according to a CBS Sports betting preview.
The Vikings are expected to be without quarterback Kyler Murray after he suffered a concussion against Green Bay. Carson Wentz is set to start after replacing Murray and throwing three touchdown passes in the season opener. Murray’s status should be confirmed through official team or league updates.
Chicago’s offence produced heavily in Week 1, but the Bears also conceded 37 points and 478 yards. Minnesota’s defence forced four late-game disruptions against Green Bay, helping the Vikings close out the win with a 22–0 run.
