AEW finalises London card with world title clashes at All In
Kenny Omega, Willow Nightingale, and the tag team champions are set to defend their titles in the UK, following a pivotal event in Montreal.
All Elite Wrestling has confirmed the match card for its upcoming All In event, scheduled for 30 August at London’s Wembley Stadium. The announcements follow the Redemption pay-per-view held at Montreal’s Bell Centre, where several title holders retained their championships and challengers were determined through tournament victories. The card features high-profile rematches and new rivalries, including Kenny Omega defending against Will Ospreay, Willow Nightingale facing Mercedes Moné, and Adam Copeland and Christian Cage retaining their tag team status against The Young Bucks.
The road to Wembley began roughly a month prior at the Forbidden Door event, where Will Ospreay defeated Swerve Strickland to win the Men’s Owen Hart Cup. This victory earned Ospreay a title shot at All In, though his opponent shifted as the summer progressed. MJF had previously held the AEW World Championship but lost it to Kenny Omega at the Beach Break event. Omega then solidified his position by successfully defending the title against Kevin Knight at Redemption, preserving the matchup against Ospreay for the London main event.
In the women’s division, the title picture underwent a significant change following Redemption. Mercedes Moné had won the Women’s Owen Hart Cup to secure a championship opportunity, but the landscape altered when Willow Nightingale defeated Thekla to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship. Nightingale’s victory at the Bell Centre set up a direct defence against Moné at Wembley Stadium.
The undercard was shaped by events immediately following the tag team title bout at Redemption. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage successfully retained the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Claudio Castagnoli and PAC. The Young Bucks, comprising Matt and Nick Jackson, confronted the champions immediately after their defence, pointing to the titles. A match graphic subsequently confirmed that Copeland and Cage would defend against The Young Bucks at All In.
Another bout appears to be taking shape for the London event. A three-way match for the AEW International Championship between Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, and Kazuchika Okada is expected. Fletcher retained the title at Redemption, while tensions have escalated following Takeshita’s split from the Don Callis Family. Although not yet officially confirmed with a graphic like the tag team bout, the rivalry has been teased throughout the summer, suggesting a showdown is imminent.
