AEW Dynamite advances All Out title picture
Adam Page and Brodido secured a trios title opportunity as AEW continued its build to All Out.
The 16 September episode of AEW Dynamite moved several storylines towards All Out, with Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley scheduled to contest the AEW World Championship at the pay-per-view.
Adam Page and Brodido defeated The Conglomeration by pinfall in a No. 1 contender’s match for the AEW World Trios Championship. Brodido comprises Bandido and Brody King, while The Conglomeration features Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly and Orange Cassidy.
Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Darby Allin and Steven Borden defeated FTR, Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher. Chris Jericho also defeated Nick Wayne, who attacked him after the match.
AEW announced that Mercedes Moné was reported as not medically cleared to compete at All Out. Willow Nightingale and Thekla will instead determine who faces Moné at WrestleDream for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
The results were reported by Yahoo Sports as part of its account of Dynamite, which was framed around AEW’s continuing promotion of the All Out card.
