Glazer reported that Donald told him he would start and play in a rotation, with the Rams easing him back into action. His first game is expected to complete the final stage of his return after an extended absence.
The Rams are not expected to increase Donald’s workload following Myles Garrett’s injury, according to the report. The club’s plan remains focused on managing Donald’s involvement as he returns to NFL play.
Donald retired after the 2023 season and completed a second workout with the Rams in August while considering a comeback. The supplied report also says he has not played since the 2024 NFC Wild Card loss to the Detroit Lions.
