Time finally set for 49ers preseason finale vs. Las Vegas Raiders
NFL club sets 5:00pm PT start for August 27 fixture at Allegiant Stadium

The San Francisco 49ers have confirmed the kick-off time for their 2026 NFL preseason finale against the Las Vegas Raiders, with the fixture scheduled for Thursday, 27 August at Allegiant Stadium. According to the Raiders website, the match will commence at 5:00pm Pacific Time. This announcement brings closure to the team’s three-game preseason schedule, which serves as the final preparation block before the regular season begins.

The game against Las Vegas marks the conclusion of a strategic scheduling block designed to stabilise the team’s routine. The 49ers have arranged three consecutive Thursday night games during the preseason period. This approach allows the organisation to lock in a consistent weekly rhythm ahead of their regular season opener against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, 10 September at 5:35pm Pacific Time.

The upcoming fixture follows a road trip to face the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, 20 August, which is set to begin at 7:20pm Pacific Time. Prior to that, the 49ers will host the Tennessee Titans at Levi's Stadium on Thursday, 13 August. While the date for the Titans match is confirmed, the kick-off time has not yet been set, leaving a minor gap in the full schedule transparency.

Notably, while the Raiders website has published the specific time for the 27 August fixture, the 49ers' official website has not yet updated its schedule to reflect this detail. This discrepancy highlights the asynchronous nature of information release between competing franchises during the preseason period, though the time itself remains the definitive standard for broadcast and attendance purposes.

Beyond the scheduling logistics, the 49ers are also managing roster adjustments as they approach the 2026 season. Defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa has addressed his recent trade from the Dallas Cowboys to the 49ers, adding a layer of personnel narrative to the final preseason preparations. The team now turns its focus to the final tune-up against the Raiders before the competitive season commences against the Rams.
