Yahoo flags conditional Week 4 waiver options amid NFL injuries

Yahoo Sports’ early Week 4 waiver preview identifies three players for fantasy managers to consider, with two recommendations dependent on the availability of injured running backs. The source does not confirm whether either player will miss Week 4.

Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II, rostered in 2 per cent of Yahoo leagues, could see more work if De’Von Achane is sidelined with a knee injury. Yahoo reports Gordon had 17 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown against Kansas City, along with three catches for 14 yards.

Jets running back Braelon Allen is rostered in 18 per cent of Yahoo leagues. Breece Hall left the game against Detroit with a thigh injury; Yahoo says Allen could lead the backfield if Hall is unavailable, with Isaiah Davis also involved.

Yahoo also recommends Jets tight end Kenyon Sadiq, listed in 17 per cent of leagues, after he recorded seven catches for 105 yards and a touchdown in Week 3. The preview says he could develop a role in the offence while receivers Omar Cooper Jr. and Adonai Mitchell are sidelined.

The recommendations come ahead of Week 4, with bye weeks due to begin in Week 5. Any expected fantasy value for Gordon or Allen remains contingent on injury updates and how their teams use the backfield.
