The Women’s National Basketball Association has scheduled three games for Friday, 21 August 2026, all of which will be broadcast on the ION network. The slate includes matches between the Minnesota Lynx and Washington Mystics, the Golden State Valkyries and Chicago Sky, and the Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo.

The Minnesota Lynx will face the Washington Mystics at 7:30 p.m. ET at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. Injury reports indicate that Napheesa Collier is resting and will not play, while Oliva Miles is listed as probable with a left ankle injury. The Washington Mystics did not report any injured players for the upcoming fixture.

Simultaneously at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Golden State Valkyries will take on the Chicago Sky at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. This match follows recent controversy involving Chicago’s DiJonai Carrington, who was ejected for a Flagrant 2 foul against Indiana’s Sophie Cunningham.

The final game of the night will see the Portland Fire play the Toronto Tempo at 10 p.m. ET. Despite the Toronto Tempo being the home team, the match is scheduled to be held at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C.

The Indiana Fever, featuring Caitlin Clark, do not play on Friday. The team is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, 22 August 2026, when they face the New York Liberty at 7 p.m. ET.

According to the schedule provided by Yahoo Sports, all three Friday games are set to air on ION, with streaming options available through Fubo for viewers seeking digital access.
