LSU linebacker Whit Weeks left the game against Texas A&M on 26 September with an apparent right ankle injury, according to Yahoo Sports.
The ABC broadcast showed Weeks entering the locker room on crutches with a boot on his right foot. The report said he hobbled off the field before leaving the sideline.
Lane Kiffin told the broadcast the injury “looked really bad”. The comment was an impression; the report provided no confirmed diagnosis or assessment of the injury’s severity.
Weeks is a team captain and multi-year LSU starter. He previously dislocated an ankle during LSU’s 2024 bowl game against Baylor.
