Walmart brings Dunkin’ delivery to its app in challenge to DoorDash and Uber Eats
The retailer will initially offer Dunkin’ delivery at 150 Walmart locations, with plans to expand to most of the chain’s US restaurants.

Walmart has announced a national partnership with Inspire Brands to add restaurant delivery to its app, beginning with Dunkin’ at 150 locations operating inside Walmart stores.
Yahoo Finance reported that the companies intend to extend the service to most of Dunkin’s approximately 10,000 US restaurants, including locations outside Walmart stores. No timetable was provided for the broader rollout.
The partnership places Walmart more directly in competition with DoorDash and Uber Eats. Inspire Brands’ portfolio also includes Arby’s, Jimmy John’s, Baskin-Robbins and Sonic.
The initial launch is centred on restaurants operating as Walmart tenants, where orders can be handled alongside the retailer’s existing operations. Walmart says its stores are within 10 miles of about 90% of the US population.
The planned expansion would test whether Walmart’s retail footprint and delivery network can support a broader restaurant service. DoorDash is also expanding into grocery and retail delivery, increasing the overlap between the businesses.
