Virginia Tech football has officially secured the commitment of four-star interior offensive lineman Kaden Buchanan to its 2027 recruiting class. Buchanan, a prospect from Friendship Christian School in Lebanon, Tennessee, chose Virginia Tech over finalists Kentucky and North Carolina State.
Buchanan, listed at 6-foot-4 and 330 pounds, is the first offensive line commitment for the Hokies in the 2027 cycle. His selection contributes to Virginia Tech’s 14th overall commitment for the class, which is currently ranked 14th nationally by 247Sports.
