USC reportedly adds former UAB long snapper Caleb Moser

USC has reportedly added former UAB long snapper Caleb Moser to its roster, with the move reported by CBS Sports reporters Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer.
Moser entered the transfer portal in January and had not publicly joined another team. USC’s roster lists him as a player, although it does not yet include a biography.
The reported addition comes as USC manages uncertainty at long snapper. The Trojans recruited Oregon State transfer Dylan Black for the role, but he has missed the team’s first two games of the season.
Redshirt freshman Luke Brown has handled long-snapping duties in Black’s absence. It is not yet clear when Moser will be eligible or available to play for USC.
USC is scheduled to face Louisiana at the Coliseum on Saturday night.
