The victory was confirmed by a university spokesperson following the conclusion of the meet in Fairfax, Virginia, where the Dayton Flyers amassed a total of 153 points.
The team's dominance on the day was evident in their final tally, which saw them defeat their opponents by a margin of 44 points.
