Typhoon 7 is forecast to approach the Okinawa and Amami Islands through June 26, prompting experts to issue warnings regarding a "very dangerous situation." According to reporting by NHK News Japan on June 25, the storm is expected to subsequently move closer to the Pacific side of western and eastern Japan by June 27.

The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) is actively monitoring the system, which is currently interacting with a stationary front. Moist air flowing from Typhoons 7 and 8 into this front has already triggered heavy rainfall in Kyushu. Authorities have advised strict caution as the weather pattern evolves.

Disaster prevention alerts, including landslide danger warnings, have been issued in northern Kyushu. The JMA has highlighted the potential for a line-shaped precipitation zone to develop in the Chikuhō and Chikujō regions of Fukuoka, further complicating local safety conditions.

While the exact intensity and precise landfall location remain subject to change as the storm approaches, the probabilistic nature of the heavy rain and potential flooding in western and eastern Japan by June 27 necessitates ongoing vigilance. The development and impact of the predicted precipitation zones in Fukuoka are also being tracked closely.

This event follows the approach of Typhoon 6 between May 1 and 2, which affected regions from Kyushu to the Kanto and Chubu areas. The JMA continues to serve as the primary source for weather forecasts and typhoon tracking in Japan, providing real-time data on storm paths and potential risks.
