The England forward denies a charge linked to an alleged confrontation at a Soho nightclub last December.

Ivan Toney has pleaded not guilty at Westminster Magistrates’ Court to assault causing actual bodily harm.
The England forward is accused of headbutting and punching a man during an alleged confrontation at a Soho nightclub in central London on 6 December last year.
The appearance was Toney’s first in court on the charge, according to the Associated Press report carried by Yahoo Sports. The report does not state a calendar date for the hearing or give an outcome in the case.
Toney’s spokesperson previously said he acknowledged the charge and looked forward to the opportunity to clear his name in court.
