Hull Kingston Rovers have signed Australian second-row forward Eddie Hampson on a two-year contract, according to a report by Yahoo Sports.

The 23-year-old is due to move from Queensland Cup club Townsville Blackhawks ahead of the 2027 Super League season. The report does not give an exact joining date.

Hampson has scored 21 tries in 69 appearances for the Blackhawks in the competition, the report says.

He is the second player recruited under new Hull KR head coach Nathan Cayless, following New Zealand outside-back Moala Graham-Taufa.
