Till secures BKFC debut victory with second-round knockout
Darren Till’s transition to bare-knuckle fighting begins with a decisive win at BKFC 90, sparking speculation regarding future matchups.

Former UFC title challenger Darren Till has successfully completed his debut in the Bare-Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), defeating Aaron Chalmers via a one-punch knockout in the second round. The victory occurred during the co-main event at BKFC 90, marking a significant moment in Till’s career as he transitions from mixed martial arts and boxing into the bare-knuckle arena.
Till’s path to victory was not without early adversity. In the first round, Chalmers, who entered the bout with a 2-0 record in the promotion, landed a stiff left hook that sent Till to one knee. The referee administered a mandatory standing eight count, allowing the veteran fighter to recover before the conclusion of the opening period. Despite the early scare, Till remained composed and adjusted his approach as the contest progressed.
The decisive moment arrived just 22 seconds into the second round. As Chalmers attempted to duck and dodge, Till landed a clean left hand that resulted in an immediate knockout. The impact was severe enough that Chalmers slumped to the canvas, and although the referee initiated a ten-count, it was evident the challenger would not recover. The contest was subsequently stopped, securing Till’s first win and first knockout in BKFC.
Prior to accepting the fight, Till had reportedly balked at signing with BKFC for several years. However, he eventually accepted an offer he described as one he could not refuse. Following the victory, Till expressed his confidence in his suitability for the sport, stating he was "built for it" and indicating a willingness to face any opponent.
The win has generated immediate speculation regarding a potential future showdown with fellow BKFC fighter Mike Perry. The two fighters have a history of heated rivalry, and Till’s dominant performance in his debut has fuelled discussions about an eventual matchup between the two combatants.
