Threads adds tools to help podcasters promote shows and engage listeners
Meta is rolling out podcast profile cards, episode links, transcripts, guest tags, posting reminders and audience insights on Threads.

Meta is rolling out a suite of Threads tools designed to help podcast creators promote shows, reach listeners and drive discussion on the platform.
The features include podcast profile cards and banners that will appear on creators’ profiles and in their posts. Episode links will be displayed as tappable cards, allowing users to access episodes from Threads.
Creators will also be able to post transcripts, tag featured guests and let users save related posts for later. Threads will send reminders to creators when new episodes are released, prompting them to promote the content on the platform.
Audience insights will show views over time from followers, non-followers and all viewers. Threads is positioning the tools around promotion and discussion rather than hosting podcast episodes.
The rollout follows podcast-focused features introduced last year, including improved link cards and podcast-profile linking. Meta said Threads reached 500 million active users in June, although that figure was not independently verified in the supplied report.
