The publication highlights that, like other online services, these AI interfaces are targets for hackers seeking to compromise user credentials.
The guide recommends fundamental cybersecurity practices, including the use of unique passwords stored in a password manager and the activation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) where supported. This second layer of security is critical to prevent access even if primary credentials are stolen.
For ChatGPT users, the platform provides visibility into active login locations. Users can navigate to Settings, then Security and Login, to view Active Sessions.
